Kurt Allen has over 24 years’ experience in the energy and utilities industry and currently serves as Senior Manager, Industrial Accounts for Entergy Louisiana’s Business & Economic Development organization since 2021. In his role, Allen leads a statewide team whose mission is to grow the utility business by partnering with industrial customers on new opportunities to retain and expand their businesses. Prior to Entergy, Allen served as Business Manager for Air Liquide’s ONE.net (Oxygen, Nitrogen, and Energy) organization in the U.S. Gulf Coast region. During his two-decade career with Air Liquide, he led various business development and account management functions to deliver customer focused initiatives that resulted in long-term business growth. Allen currently focuses his efforts on assisting industrial customers meet their decarbonization goals through Entergy’s existing and future opportunities in solar, carbon capture, hydrogen, and nuclear offerings, and serves on the Advanced Energy Council. Allen holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from LSU along with a master’s in business administration.
