Sholonda is a TUV Certified Functional Safety Engineer with more than 35 years of Refining and Chemical Processing plant industry knowledge. This experience includes work activities in instrumentation, electrical and analytical design, reliability, maintenance, and functional safety.
Sholonda is a native of Lutcher, Louisiana, a small town 30 miles south of New Orleans, Louisiana. She graduated from The Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. She is married to Gill Walker, Sr. and has two grown sons (both college graduates) – Gill Walker, Jr and Jyron Walker.
Sholonda is a volunteer in her community, serving on several non-profit Board of Directors. Her passion is community engagement and individual empowerment.
